January Bulletin Board
Wow “2012” is upon us. We had a great “2011”.
We collected $995.77 with our “Project Loose Change”. We had our 4 year olds make 48 book bags with some of the money that we collected. The book bags consisted of a pencil, pens, candy bars, toothbrush, $10 McBucks, stuffed animal, hot chocolate and mug, markers, notebook, construction paper, colored pencils, ruler, glue sticks, and a book.
We donated these book bags to the Salvation Army in Irwin.
We also gave to Meals on Wheels in Irwin and a few families in need.
Thank you for your great support. It was a great success.
We are going to be starting registrations the first week of January. If you are not planning to come back to CHUM next year, please let us know so that we can fill you spot.
On Friday January 6th Judy would like to have a short meeting with the 4 year old parents, to let you know some of the things your child needs to know for Kindergarten.
The meeting will be at 11:15 AM and 2:30 PM.
The 4 year olds will be having a Pajama Party on Friday January 20, 2012. They are to bring an item from their bed for Show/Tell that day, and come to school dressed in their pajamas.
Please keep selling hoagies. The hoagie orders will be due
Tuesday January 3rd , and Wednesday January 4th. This is the first day back.
Please remember to buy your McBuck’s. This really does help the school!
We have them available at school all the time. They are good for a year.
We are going to be offering Easter Seals Testing.
It is for our 3 and 4 year olds on January 18th and 19th . This testing is optional.
It is a very thorough test for hearing and speech. The cost will be $20.
We will be sending home the information closer to the date.
Coupon Book money is due the first week in January.
Please have the money in buy then. If you need more, let us know.
If you can't sell yours, please return them as soon as possible.
